To check the correct amount of links required remove your original chain from the bar and place on a flat surface, the links or drive teeth are those on the inside of the chain loop that drive along the chainsaw bar and sprocket.
PITCH - Measurement between 3 rivets divided by 2
GAUGE - Measurement between the rails on the guide bar
DRIVE LINK - The number of links that sit in the guide bar
